Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.įear thou not for I am with thee: be not dismayed for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee yea, I will help thee yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.Ĭast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Īnd the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.Īnd be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
